An endurance workout  along with a well known Welded benchmark workout, “Randy”. I know there are a number of you who are interested and some on the fence about whether or not to compete in this 2-day event. So I am here to answer some questions and give some insight on the event. First off, what is Battle Grounds? Battle Grounds is a functional fitness sporting event. It is designed to test all aspects of fitness. The 4th of July is more than just hot dogs, fireworks and BBQ’s, it is recognizing the independence of our nation that gave birth to the freedoms that we currently own. On July 4th, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from Great Britain which led to the formation of the United States. In honor of Independence Day Double Edge will be closed at both locations. We hope that you enjoy the holiday and take a moment to give thanks to our forefathers who so boldly proclaimed freedom when they signed the Declaration of Independence 242 years ago.

By: Trent Soares Here are some things that I have learned as part of my experience with taking a toddler to the pool/beach/lake. Outside of the obvious of packing sunscreen and floaties I would like to share some parenting tips that have helped my family. Wagon Getting from the car to the perfect spot is tricky. You always have to be ready to pick the kiddo up so I have found that buying a wagon or rolling carts with tough, sand-ready wheels are a smart asset. I have had a huge success with loading up my wagon prior to the trip. That way the drop off and pick up is smooth because there is room in the car for the load.
