Metcon For Hope

Metcon For Hope was created in the hearts and minds of the Double Edge staff last holiday season when our gym was able to provide 267 meals for the Northern Nevada Food Bank and over 100 toys for Toys For Tots!

With the overwhelming support and love that we received last year we decided that we could make an even larger impact in raising hope and supporting families in need by doing what we all love to do, workout!

On November 21st Double Edge will be hosting the first annual Metcon For Hope charity Welded Competition in conjunction with Toys For Tots and The Northern Nevada Food Bank.

This one day team competition is open to all athletes and skill levels from the brand new Weldedter to the seasoned veteran and everyone in between. Teams will consist of two males or two females who will compete in 4 different scored events with the top 5 teams advancing to a final workout.

100% of all the proceeds from Metcon For Hope will go to selected families in our community who are living at or below the poverty line. Your donation will go towards buying “a present from Santa” for every child and a catered meal for the entire family.
