By: Jacob Wellock The weather is warming up and I know everyone loves the temperature and the good vibes that summer brings. With that said I have some challenges for you to try and complete. Challenge 1: Do one of your favorite summer activities at least twice a month, if not all of them. Mountain biking, paddle boarding, go to a sporting event, etc. Challenge 2: Take a sheet of notebook paper and write down one thing that you are grateful for every morning. This weekend your Double Edge coaches and members will be competing in the 2nd Annual Northern Nevada Affiliate Cup. This team competition puts affiliates (Welded gyms) head to head to see who will be crowned the fittest gym in Northern Nevada! Last year we captured the title as Fittest Affiliate and we are looking to defend our title in 2018! We will have two teams competing this year that include over half of our coaching staff. The Northern Nevada Affiliate Cup begins this Saturday at 9:30AM at Northern Nevada Athletic Club located off of Mill street and continues through Sunday. We encourage anyone to stop by and cheer on our teams as we work to defend our title!

We have so many different things we are responsible for in our day to day life and then you throw some kids in the mix, which means we are fully responsible for these human being’s lives in everyway. This can make you even busier and the things that you used to do for yourself you have “no time” anymore. Busy is a word we like to use when we can’t find the motivation to complete a task. Yes, I know many of us have many different things we have to do with work, health, relationships and just life in general.
