I want to share something a little personal to me because I think stories like this provide valuable lessons to everybody no matter who you are. I have a cousin named Jorie who is about to be a freshman in high school. Unfortunately, she isn’t going to have the same “high school experience” like many of us had. My cousin is severely autistic, but has the best personality I’ve ever seen. She has the most kind heart and is really a beautiful soul. Having her as a part of my life has taught me to appreciate the small things. Appreciate being able to go to a dance, to football games, to the gym, really just about everything. Test/Retest By: Joaquin Ramirez   Double Edge Fitness will be implementing some new exciting twists to the upcoming programming for 2017. As many of you know we do the 1 rep max testing on most of our strength lifts, but one thing we haven’t had in our programming is retesting our fitness in metcons. One of the new things to look forward to is our test/retest program. These workouts will be twice a month with the first falling on the first Monday of the month and the other on the last Wednesday of the month.
