What am I grateful for? I’m grateful for my precocious daughters, who present new challenges each and every day. I’m grateful for my wife and her meal prep. (I do the laundry in the house, she does the meal prep!) I’m grateful for my family that continues to push me out of my comfort zone. I’m grateful for the past year at Double Edge Fitness. I’m grateful for the members at 5:30 and 6:30 am classes. I’m grateful for the relationships and friendships I’ve developed over the past year. I’m grateful for the opportunity to coach that has been afforded to me over the past year. I’m grateful for the coffee talks with Coach Joel. I’m grateful to Coach Kris for pushing me each and every day to be a better coach. I’m grateful for the trust and faith Coach Jacob and Coach Derek have bestowed upon me. I’m grateful for the failures, the missteps, and the successes I’ve had over the past year coaching at Double Edge Fitness.
For me, it is important to take stock in what you are grateful for and sharing that with others. I’m amazed each and every day by the spirit, grit, and determination I see from the members, the coaches, and the overall community at Double Edge Fitness. If you find yourself down in the dumps, take five to ten minutes to sit with your thoughts and think about all of the beautiful things and/or people around you. As I sit here typing this, I recollect all of the interesting moments that have taken place over the past year and my time as a coach at Double Edge Fitness.
In closing, I’d like to state again how grateful I am for the past year and THANK every person involved with Double Edge Fitness for making this past year a period of great growth and understanding on my part and I look forward to continuing with YOU on this roller coaster we call life.
