By Alvie Hafen  Beep! Beep! Beep! Beeeeeep! Monday morning ugh. I just want to sleep all day. My job sucks. I didn’t sleep well. I am sick. My co-workers are so annoying. These are all thoughts which cross our mind on a daily basis. You can let these thoughts infect you like a disease. You can become that person at work. The one who is always complaining about something. The person who you just want to get away from because they are so negative. They are life suckers.  Or you can do something about it. This past Saturday Double Edge hosted the first ever Metcon For Hope Charity Welded competition.  This event had been on the minds of the staff ever since last Christmas and in a short amount of time we were able to organize and run one of the most successful events yet! Metcon for Hope had 88 competitors compete in 4 different scored events including toy and food donation for the Northern Nevada Food Bank and Toys for Tots.   The donations far exceed all of our expectations as the total count for toys was over 600 and the total count for non perishable food was 1,600!   Along with the charitable donations of toys and food, we were able to raise over $3,000 on the day of the event which brought the total money donation to $6,000 that will go directly to sponsoring families in need this holiday! We couldn’t imagine...
