This past weekend was the 4th annual Battle Grounds hosted at Double Edge South. There were over 100 competitors in 6 different divisions that competed for the title of Battle Grounds Champion. After a total of 6 workouts there were 4 members from Double Edge that topped the podium. Laurie MacAfee (1st in Women’s Masters) Lisa Calvo (2nd in Women’s Masters) Justin Wike (2nd in Men’s Masters) Frank Stearns (3rd in Men’s Scaled) This was our best Battle Grounds yet and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generous help of all our volunteers who spent their weekend judging, organizing and moving heavy weights. To our volunteers we say THANK YOU!! We are already making plans for Battle Grounds for next year and we hope that you will join us in 2019! Intracellular fluid makes up about 66% of the body’s water! This means that most of the body’s water is in our individual cells powering it’s every function. That is why making sure you have enough daily is so important. Water, just like any one of us has a daily to do list: -Dissolve substances -Transport substances -Regulate temperature -Provide minerals...
