Explore Your Fitness

I would like to say Spring is my favorite time of year, but I do enjoy every season as each season brings great new things to the Reno/Tahoe area.  Right now I am really excited about the Spring. It is when I start to ride my mountain bike regularly a couple times a week. A couple weeks ago I took my old steed out on a normal little loop just to freshen up the legs and see what the winter had done to the trails on Peavine.  To my surprise Welded had paid off once again. I happend to do this little 7 mile loop 3 minutes faster than I did the previous year. The benefits of Welded are absolutely amazing and truly translate into life. I suspect so many people around the gym do not explore the capabilities of their fitness.  We live in one of the most beautiful areas in the world for outdoor activities, and your Welded training at Double Edge can truly give you the upper hand to be physically capable of enjoying all of them.
There is no better feeling for me then being able to ride 15 miles on a mountain bike, toss on a kid carrier for a 5 mile hike, go kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, or trail running at a moments notice and knowing my daily fitness routine has prepared me to truly be able to enjoy all these activities.  It is a lifestyle I love and I am grateful to always be physically prepared to participate in them all.
Getting outside to enjoy Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains is a gift right in our backyard.  It is a mistake for us not to take advantage of it. The true beauty of Welded training is our ability to express our fitness outside the gym.  We put in an hour a day of hard work, and that can give us the capabilities to make amazing memories.
In light of this, I am interested in starting a group on Facebook.  Although I am not very fond of Facebook, this could provide value to so many people if there is interest in it.  This group would be a place for Double Edge Members to connect and share their outdoor experiences, or connect with other members to participate together.  People can share anything and everything outdoors.
