Workout And Words For September 4th – Meet Dr. McBroom

If you haven’t already heard, we have a new member of the Double Edge family.  Dr. McBroom or Chris has recently joined the team as the in house chiropractor to help with keeping people aligned and feeling fine!

Dr. McBroom has been an avid athlete his whole life and experienced his fair share of injuries. After suffering from low back pain and being introduced to Chiropractic care in Highschool, he became fascinated by the capacity of the human body and decided to pursue his career in the Chiropractic profession.

Dr. McBroom attended the University of Nevada, Reno for his undergraduate education and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, Ca. During his education Dr. McBroom learned from some of the worlds most renowned Chiropractors, Physical Therapist, Strength coaches and massage therapist and combined his knowledge into an all in one treatment. His goal was to bring something he believed was new and cutting edge to the Reno area.

Dr. McBroom understands that the human body is affected by every moving part and has tailored his approach to not only address the spine but also the ankles, knee, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists in order to balance the entire kinetic chain and provide quick, lasting result for his patients. Dr. McBroom specializes in spinal and extremity adjusting, myofascial release, kinesiology taping, exercise and full body rehabilitation.
