We are often so preoccupied with things going on around us that we forget to enjoy the present moment. I want to share a quote with everyone that I found very eye opening.
“First I was dying to finish high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
And then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was dying for my children to grow old enough for school so I could return to work. And then I was dying to retire.
And now, I am dying, and suddenly I realize I forgot to live. ”

This hits home for me. Everyday I tell myself I can’t wait to finish school and start my life. Sometimes I forget that this IS my life and that each day is a blessing. We don’t know when our last day is gonna be. We should be living our lives each and everyday to the fullest.
For parents, value the time you have with your children when they are young. Once they grow old, you can’t have that opportunity back.
If you don’t like the way something is going in your life, then change it. Life is way too short to not be happy. Live the life you want to live so you can live a life with no regrets.
