We have exciting news in our Double Edge Yoga program to share. At the beginning of May we sent out a feedback request via email to see how the yoga program users felt yoga was going thus far. Based on your responses, we are going to be doubling the number of classes we’re offering weekly and bringing back some additional favorites.
Beginning July 9th, we’ll be adding the following classes to our existing schedule:
– Mondays @ 4:30: Lengthen and Strengthen (Alex/Andrea swapping weekly)
– Mondays @ 5:30: Rest and Restore (Alex)
– Thursdays @ 5:30: Rest and Restore (Jenelle…new teacher to Double Edge)
We will be bringing back outdoor summer yoga at the South location once/month in July, August, and September! These classes will be held on the cement slab near the pond at 7am to beat that Nevada summertime heat. The class will be more of a traditional flow-based type, with fresh fruit and OJ after each one. The dates for these are:
– July 14th (Dawn)
– August 11th (Andrea)
– September 8th (Haideh)
All of these classes will be available to sign up for soon on the MindBody and Double Edge apps!
Also, in September we’ll be re-starting up Broga and Brews/Vinyasa and Vino (alternating monthly) on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in our Midtown studio. Come sip some libations and stretch it out! These classes will be more yin-style, holding asanas for longer to allow your body to relax into each pose.
We are working hard to provide you all with the best program possible. Hopefully if you are using the yoga program (which is included in your memberships!) you are seeing the benefit of it. If you aren’t using the program, maybe this new schedule will draw you in. Wherever you’re at, know that this is YOUR program; we are just guiding it in a direction that provides opportunities to use it to your benefit.
