Double Edge South – Construction Updates & Class Times

Construction is continuing to go without a hitch (knock on wood!) at the future location of Double Edge South.  Here are the most recent updates and what else is planned for the month of December:

Completed Construction

– The HVAC system is complete and fully operational to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter

– Studs are in place with a majority of the electricity already wired for TV’s and speakers.  We were strategic on placing the TV’s so that everyone will be able to see the workout no matter where they are at in the gym.

– Our raised members lounge is nearing completion with flooring.  We have tripled the size of the members lounge at Double Edge south which will include a 60″ TV, self service coffee bar, and a kegerator for ummm kombucha….

– Lastly, our main entrance beams have been set in place which will be the future site of our Double Edge sign.  This entrance is going to awesome

December Plans 

– By the end of December the hope is to have all the drywall placed which will really start to give the feel of the building

– Tile is planed to be set into the women’s and men’s bathrooms which will have 4 showers each

Class Times

To accommodate the schedules of our members we will have a staggered class time from the Midtown gym.  This means that in the morning class times will be on the half hour and the evening classes will be on the hour.   This will give our members more flexibility in class times which will be pushed to over 18 classes offered a day between both locations!
