To all of the Double Edge members and crew, this will be my last blog for Double Edge. As most of you already know I am headed to Southern California to pursue a career that I never thought in a million years I would be able to do.
I wanted to write to everyone because unfortunately I don’t have the time to go to every single class and personally say goodbye to all of my 400+ closest friends split between two gyms. Over the course of the next three weeks I hope to get to say goodbye and workout with as many people as possible in the different group classes. I also wish I could write to let each individual person in this gym know how you have affected my life in a positive way. I love you all and each of you have a special place in my heart that I will never forget. Whether I have known you for a week or 5 years we all have a bond that no one can beat. You have made me a better person.
As a coach, I know we change lives everyday but you guys change our lives every day too. I’m so blessed to have had a job that I absolutely love coming to each day. I am so lucky to get to have members who enjoy their time at the gym so much that they spend hours here. I love being at the front desk hearing about everyone’s lives and getting to know your families, your kids, your ups and downs, and even your PR’s.
The kids are so entertaining to watch. The kids just crack me up daily. They always make my day even when they tell me how excited they were to go potty in the toilet or that their poop is green. They just say THE FUNNIEST things! I appreciate you all so much for making my job the best job in the world. Always remember to take care of yourselves and your health, THEN you can take care of others. Be healthy for your family and friends.
Time is probably the most important thing in life that we all have. The definition of time is so beautiful so I have to share it. Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and event that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future…. I know I will never find a team as good as mine so I will value the time I have had with them and cherish it forever. I can’t end this blog without a Welded reference so remember guys that EVERY SECOND COUNTS! Keep that intensity high and keep moving!
Well I could go on forever and ever about how much I love Double Edge and everything everyone has done for me but you have better things to do so I will see you guys at Member Appreciation Night aka my going away party on Saturday evening so I better see you all there.
